Hello 2016 - Encourage and Inspire Please :0)

Hi and Happy New Year :)
Been AWOL for a bit due to recovering from yet another operation, and some difficult losses to try to process over the last six months.  However, I really would love to get into colouring more and crafting.

I managed my New Years Resolution last year to blog more :)
I would absolutely love to know if you would like to see more?  Like my blog?  The Cards?  No, I am not fishing for compliments, I am hoping for inspiration and people actually wanting to see what I create.  I am going to use some tutorials, which I will link.  I found some fantastic cards to make for my charity work and I am limited in my abilities at the moment.
I have loads of different crafty bits I have discovered and asked for as Christmas Presents.  I have:
  • Fairies A Very Fairy Door and Faery Ink
  • Elephants
  • Hobby House Kits
  • Hunky Dory Kits
  • Whimsy Stamps
  • Lavinia Fairies
  • Humphrey's Corner
  • MelJens' Designs
  • Saturated Canary
  • House Mouse
  • Tilly
  • Bella
  • Bluebell

and that is just of the top of my head!
They are all basically to be made up for Charity, the NSPCC, my two Post Pals, Kings College Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Here are two of my favourite cards, as they were made for my sons :0)

Here is a Bella Stamped Image I have coloured with my Promarkers,
I guess I am asking you, if there is anyone who is inspired or enjoys looking at my blog and cards I make and/or images coloured?
Should I carry it on or quit? while I still can!
Please let me know your thoughts, I would love to know I am not wasting time blogging, and I could just make cards and donate them!

Thank you so much, for all your support and encouragement over the years.  To the lovely ladies who helped me raise of £300.00 for my E-Book which is going to the NSPCC :0)  I was hoping for £100.00 so I can not thank you enough.
Apologies to Karen Lumley who has donated 6 cards to me, I watermarked them and then realised they all had a typo so I will re-do those and blog them as promised.
Thank you to the Hobby House for your kind donations of crafts for my E-Book, I still have not posted the card I made!
Thank you to Jacque's Crafts for helping me get all the Wild Rose Studio Panels and Papers for Bella and Bluebell so I can try and get these made for the children, and your kindness, support and friendship and finally, Eileen Stebbings, where do I begin, you have been so generous and kind and made me so many templates to help me with my cards...(Ohhh, I discovered the Paper Shelter).  Also loving... A Very Fairy Door, Kimberly Brown, Donna Jerrett, Diane Scotland and Paula Holifield have all been such a great support for ideas, inspiration and kindness).
Faery Ink is another discovery which I will play with and Jill from The Hobby House, do not pass out with shock, but I still have not opened the huge tin of Prisma Pencils, so I am going to try and use those, this year!  Two years they have sat there :0)
I posted a couple of cards on Facebook on my Page, and will add them on here hopefully next week.  I did not make any cards or write any for posting over Christmas for the first time ever, as I was unable too.  I would like to wish you all a wonderfully, fantastic and fabulous 2016 and have hope that it will be promising with blessings and love.
Thank you in advance for your posts, I will read them and reply, even if it is just one!  I guess I am positively trying to adjust to my new limitations and be positive that my recovery will be soon, as it has taken more than the 3 months and I have only got to stage 1, so looks like another 3 months for me.

Thank you all for encouraging and inspiring me, I just hope I get my mojo of inspiration back and build up that good old self esteem.  :)

I have been AWOL (sorry, hospial fun)!

Anyway, I have been playing with my promarkers and had a go at this image of a present by MelJen Designs.

I absolutly love her mice, and wanted to have a go at this image for a change!

I was hoping to play around with the different pinks and blues and see how if I can play around with shading and blending my promarkers.  Practicing at least :0)

Anyway, I hope you like it, I had fun colouring it.

Thanks for looking and best wishes

Love Me Do - Wee Card Topper Collectoion: Card No: # Four

Hello :0)

I hope you are having a good day  :)
So, here it is: 'Love Me Do' Topper on my Final Card of this set
This Cute Bride and Groom :0)

This couple is sweet, I love the colours and the flowers and I think this is one of my very first cards using this folding technique.  I have to say, I think this one is definitely one of my favourites  :)

The mulberry flowers are such perfect colours and I used one of my leaf punches, I also added some pearls around the image... and I wish I had taken a better pic of the card!

I hope you liked this collection and look forward to your comments and feedback.  Many thanks for looking and have a fab weekend :0)

The Kit and all products used are from The Hobby House, you can purchase the Toppers individually or purchase sets.

I liked the sets and got these for Christmas and Birthday Pressies.

I have had great fun with these, and will work through some more of these beautiful toppers.

I will try a make a few different cards next before going back to these little cuties :0)

Lots of Hugs

Thank you for your continuous support and get well soon wishes during my recovery.  It is sad that I have not managed to craft as much as I would have liked but at least I managed to blog :)

Take Care and Hugs,

xx Sonia xx

Love Me Do - Wee Card Topper Collectoion: Card No: # Three

I hope you are all well, sorry for being AWOL - I have been busy playing the surgery and recovery game!  It is going to be a few months, so hopefully, I can sit and make some cards! :0)

This card is very sweet and so cute, it is part of the 'Love Me Do' Wee Collection of Toppers, from The Hobby House.

I love the ribbon flowers and enjoyed making spray of flowers and embellishing this card with the swirly pearls.

I am not sure if you can see the glitter on the topper and the flowers on the topper.  The sweet little frame is lovely too.

The embellishments used are pearls from the pearls with swirls, flowers from the kit and the crystal gems.

I hope you like this card as much as I have enjoyed putting it together :)

xx  I hope you are all well and look forward to your response xx

Love Me Do - Wee Card Topper Collectoion: Card No: # Two

This is the second Bride and Groom Topper from the Wee Collection:

I used the roses on the ribbon again, different flowers for the spray and punched the patterned paper for the leaves.

The papers, ribbons and accessories are all included in the kit.

Thank you for looking :0)
